With fraudulent, inappropriate and offensive emails being delivered in vast quantities to businesses every day, spam protection is a vital component of your network’s security strategy.

Eliminate spam before it enters your network
The Sentinel appliance provides anti-spam detection at internet level and eliminates the need to install and update anti-spam software on each desktop. Additionally, all email is checked for viruses using a virus scan engine that is updated with the latest definitions hourly. Using Comcare Sentinel you can:

Optional Web Filtering
In addition to spam management, Sentinel can also filter and manage web usage. It checks every page accessed for “banned” subjects such as drugs, profanities, hate, pornography etc and disallows access to the page if it is deemed unsuitable. You maintain control over what is banned, and can interactively add "approved" web sites to suit your business needs.
How does Sentinel work?
Sentinel is installed at the edge of your network, between your Internet router and the rest of your network. All mail, and optionally, web browsing traffic. Sentinel is compatible with almost all email systems, utilising industry standard mail processing and forwarding techniques.
